How these tools are built

Four rules apply to every tool on this site, from the mortgage calculator to the QR code generator.

Processing stays on your device

Loan figures, pasted code and uploaded photos are handled by JavaScript in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to a ToolsPulse Hub server.

The formula is on the page

Every calculator states the equation it uses in plain words and walks through one worked example with real numbers.

Checked against known answers

Financial calculators run against reference cases in an automated test suite. A $300,000 loan at 6.5% over 30 years must return $1,896.20 a month, or the build fails.

Local rules where they matter

Pick US, UK, Canadian, euro or Australian currency formats. The mortgage tool handles US PMI, UK stamp duty and Canada’s semi-annual compounding.

About these tools

ToolsPulse Hub is a set of free utilities for money decisions and everyday web work. The financial side covers the questions people ask before they sign something: what a mortgage payment will be, how much house an income supports, whether a refinance pays for itself, and which debt to clear first. The investing tools project savings growth, retirement balances, ROI and crypto trades.

The web and content side is for people who build or write online. You can validate JSON and see the exact line of a syntax error, tidy SQL before a code review, preview how a page title will look in Google, check the reading level of a draft, or create a QR code for a Wi-Fi network.

What the calculators can and cannot tell you

A calculator is only as good as its inputs. Our loan tools use the standard amortization formula that lenders use, so the principal-and-interest figure should match a lender’s quote for the same rate and term. Real offers also include fees, insurance and local taxes that vary by lender and by address. Treat every result as a planning estimate, and confirm the numbers with your lender, broker or tax adviser before you commit.

No accounts, no uploads

None of the tools ask you to sign up. The image tools compress and convert files with your browser’s built-in canvas, so a photo never leaves your computer or phone. You can disconnect from the internet after a page loads and most tools keep working.
