Disclaimer
Our calculators show what the maths says for the numbers you enter. They are planning aids, not professional advice.
Not financial, tax or legal advice
Nothing on ToolsPulse Hub is financial, investment, tax, accounting, legal or credit advice. We are not a lender, broker, bank, financial adviser or tax preparer, and using the site does not create a client relationship. Before making a decision about a mortgage, loan, investment, retirement plan or tax position, speak to a qualified professional who knows your circumstances, such as a licensed mortgage broker, a certified financial planner, an FCA-authorised adviser in the UK, or a CPA or chartered accountant.
Results are estimates
Each calculator uses a standard formula and states it on the page. Results can still differ from what a lender, bank or tax authority gives you because:
- Rates change. Calculators assume the rate you enter stays fixed for the whole period unless the page says otherwise. Variable, tracker and adjustable-rate products will behave differently.
- Fees and timing differ. Lenders may charge origination, arrangement or closing fees, collect interest daily, or use different first-payment dates. Unless you enter them, those costs are not included.
- Rounding. We round displayed figures to the nearest cent or penny. Lenders may round each monthly payment differently, which can move the final payment by a few cents.
- Country rules are simplified. Features such as US PMI, UK stamp duty and Canadian mortgage insurance follow published rules at the date shown on the page. They do not cover every exemption, regional variation or special case.
- Investment returns are assumptions. Growth projections use a constant rate of return. Real markets go up and down, and past returns do not guarantee future results.
Crypto and tax estimates
The crypto profit calculator applies only the tax rate you type in. It does not know your country’s rules on cost basis, holding periods, allowances or losses. Crypto assets are volatile and in many countries are not covered by deposit or investor protection schemes.
Security tools
The password generator uses your browser’s cryptographically secure random number generator, and passwords are never sent to us. Strength ratings are estimates based on length and character variety. They do not account for passwords that are reused, stored insecurely or exposed in a data breach.
Accuracy and errors
We test our formulas against reference cases and review pages regularly, but we cannot guarantee that every result is free of error or reflects rules announced after the page’s “last updated” date. If you think something is wrong, please tell us and we will check it.
